My subject lines have been on a bit of an 80's kick lately. It's Saturday! Which means it's movie day! So excited. We haven't seen a movie in the theater since right after vaccines came out, when it looked like the pandemic was going to be short lived. Then, it all went to hell and we retreated into our cave, and have been there ever since.
I'm excited that the D&D movie is getting such good reviews. It doesn't mean that I'll definitely like it, but a few people whose opinions I trust liked it, so fingers crossed. Next up, in two weeks, Renfield, with Nicholas Cage comes out, and I'd like to see that. It's actually a pretty bucy spring for movies I want to see. Don't know how often we'll get there, but we'll see.
I got an email from our lawn people. The price is going up another 10%, which is annoying, but not surprising. I will email them back in the hopes that they can come out soon, since the lawn is starting to get a little high in places.
Still no call about the Team Lead job. So much for mid-week. I've been putting in applications for remote call center supervisors, just as a backup. I don't really want to leave IKEA. I've spent 6 years learning the business, and I don't want to throw that away, but I also want to have a job that I can really use all my skills in.
Okay, time for me to go get dressed and get myself together. Our movie is at 11:00am, so I'll have to be ready relatively early. Everyone have a perfectly lovely Saturday!
