Up early today for my busy day. First, waking up enough to take my sister to work. Later, it'll be time to take Jess to their post op appointment. If we finish up that early enough, which I assume we will, I'll go see Dad for a bit, and then I will go pick up my sister, then collapse. It's not 14 hours of driving, but it's more than I normally do, and most of it in traffic, so I'm not really looking forward to it.
The bigwig who's doing my interview contacted me. My second interview will be on Monday at 11. This means I have to go in the office two days this week, which is annoying, but doable. To be fair, I offered to come in, since I figured that showed flexibility. She made me wait on it. Around 11, she hit me up, asking what my onsite day was. I said Thursday, but explained that I was off today. We exchanged pleasantries about how the weather was supposed to be nice this afternoon, and I should enjoy it. And she would check her schedule. That was at 11:22. Then, not a word the rest of the day. I finally sent her another message fifteen minutes before I left, and she quickly scheduled the appointment. Not sure if that's a sign or not. Oh well, we shall see.
We played Blades in the Dark last night. It's an interesting game, and I'm still learning the system. It was a lot of fun, but for the moment, it's still as slower game, as we all figure out what can be done. We finished up the score, and they received a nice payout, but they managed to piss off two factions that are two levels higher than them. I'm sure that won't bite them in the ass later.
Tomorrow, we're in the weird position of having no games, WTF? Who knows, I may do a pickup game, we'll see what I feel like. It's just weird not having a game on Friday.
Okay, going to get myself together for the day. Everyone have a thrilling Thursday!
