Thursday, ew. On one hand, I want to go in to meet my manager. On the other, it's going into work, and I'm still not going to have enough to do, so I'm going to be trying to look busy. But alas, that's how it goes.
I called Dad's case manager for an update, only to hear that they're aiming for discharge on next Thursday. The day before we leave. UGH. I really was hoping that they'd keep him while we were away. Better this than doing it while we're away, I suppose? Still, I worry about my sister having to take care of him alone. My anxiety spike, it knows no bounds.
This came after I spent the morning online with Disney. I applied for the Disability Access Service pass, since sometimes I freak out about being stuck somewhere, especially with people around. This means that I can check in at a ride, and get a return time. It'll be about the same amount of time as if I was waiting. in the line, but when we come back, we'll be able to use the lightning lane and not have to be crammed in the queue. Disney would apparently prefer that I not have a full blown panic attack in the middle of the Haunted Mansion line.
We're down to 8 days until departure, which is freaky. It's not looking like brother in law is going to be coming over, so we'll be leaving at 6pm on Friday, which is much later than I wanted to. Hopefully, we'll be able to get 6-8 hours in before we stop and get a hotel for the night. I was hoping to do 10 hours before we stopped, but I don't think that's going to happen. I guess we'll have to see how it goes. I'm going to have to be flexible, which is not my strong suit.
I feel like over the last year, this trip has become my personality. I am the person who is Going to Disney. I wonder who I'll be when it's done? Probably the person who's depressed that they're not at Disney.
Okay, time for me to consider putting on pants and getting ready for work. First, more coffee, though. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!
