There it is again, that funny feeling

That funny feeling when the second line pops up on the testing card, that is. So, yeah, I have Covid. Yesterday, I was okay, little scratchy throat, and a fever. We played last night and I was starting to cough a touch, but I had a bottle of gatorade to soothe my throat and we made it through. But then, during the night, the cough got worse, and now i'm sitting here sounding like a three pack a day smoker. I have an Telehealth appointment at 9:30 with plushcare. They're able to prescribe antivirals and hopefully a cough medicine. I can't take any of the DM cough syrups due to medication, so I'm hoping that we can get some of the Tessalon Pearls.

I should probably put on a shirt or something, so I'm not starting a video call in my ratty nightgown.

Jess is still coughing. Actually, they were coughing more than me up until today. Now, not so much. The rehab is currently taking it easy on dad, since he still has pneumonia, so no update on when he's going to get out. My sister's still having some fatigue, but is otherwise pretty good.

At least my job doesn't require me to be on the phones, so I won't have to take all my sick time. Yay primarily work from home! By Thursday, I will be past my mandated quarantine, so I may return to work, masked as usual.

I ended up cancelling the game we had scheduled today. I'm coughing bad enough without trying to speak.
