Ugh, already Thursday? I don't want to go in the office! I dragged my ass out of bed early as. usual. I need to have a couple cups of coffee before I'm fully awake. My sister is chatty this morning, which is kind of driving me crazy. She's a lot more politically active than I am, and I do not need to hear about the Trump Organization's inditement first thing in the morning. I haven't even finished my first cup of coffee! I need at least two cups before I can handle the orange atrocity.
Yesterday was mostly boring. I did my markets, worked on the Pending Returns queue and did my market when it came in around 2. About 2:30, my managers called me. They just wanted to let me know that they nominated me for Coworker of the Month. It's very unlikely that I'm going to win--back office hardly ever does, because there's just so many people on the phones side. I think there's been like four people in six years that I can remember. Still, it's very sweet of them to nominate me. In the unlikely event I win, it's worth a $50 IKEA gift card.
Today is going to be busy. M wasn't feeling well, so I'll be doing the delivery updates, plus whatever markets came in late. Then after lunch we have a team meeting, then I'm going to be doing a presentation to some bigwigs in the Service Office about what my department does. I was apparently chosen because I know how to do all four sections in our department. I found out about the presentation at about 1pm yesterday, so I'm a little nervous about it.
Last night, I had my first meeting regarding the gig as Social Media Coordinator for Confabulation Con. I'll be responsible for Twitter, Facebook and Dreamwidth. Fortunately, Facebook and DW are only one post per day. Twitter, I'll need to schedule posts, so that'll be something new for me.
Now, I'm going to play Dreamlight Valley for a few minutes before I have to get dressed. It finally came out for Macbooks. I haven't really gotten into it yet, but it looks gorgeous. Everyone have a wonderful Thursday!
