Today's subject line comes from my favorite Christmas movie, Anna and the Apocalypse.
If you haven't seen it, I thoroughly recommend it. It's a holiday zombie apocalypse musical, and it's awesome. The songs are way too catchy, and the plot is a fun little romp. I might have to rewatch it before Christmas along with Hogfather.
It's funny how much I love Hogfather. While I love Terry Pratchett, a lot of his writing just doesn't work for me. But, the things I love, I really, really love. And I really love Hogfather. It may have my favorite dialogue in all of fiction. It makes me feel more charitable towards my fellow man.
Yesterday was a long, relatively boring day. Today probably will be as well. I worked on my project a bit and got the screencaps I needed done. We'll see how my boss likes it. Aside from that, I did my markets and helped out in other departments.
One thing I did do was get the next MotW game plotted out (inasmuch as I plot those). Sunday night, just before bed, I came up with a kernel of an idea, and jotted out the bare bones and emailed it to myself. I'm glad I did, because I had completely forgotten it the next morning. It actually took some research and thought, but I think I've mostly got it now. The next game isn't for a little while, but I'm excited about it none the less.
Next up, we start scheduling the superhero game, which is bound to be difficult. It's technically a one-shot, but the primary conceit probably isn't going to be solved in one game, so it could go into a series if people want.
Okay, tis time to go forth and get some more coffee and get myself together for work. Have a good Tuesday everyone!
