It's Tuesday! Two more days til a three day weekend! Of course, I didn't sleep worth shit last night. Woke up at 3am and that was it for the day. My brain finally drove me out of bed around 5:30, since which my sister has been chatty. I want to gnaw my arm off to escape, but there's nowhere to go. Normally, it doesn't drive me crazy, but the lack of sleep is making me easily overstimulated.
This is why Sunday mornings are my favorite morning. I get to sit in total silence, no TV, no one trying to talk to me when I'm half awake. I do hate waking up on Sunday, but the quiet is nice.
Yesterday was actually a reasonable amount of work. I had the project folder, and then my markets came in relatively early. I ended up leaving an hour early due to a nasty headache, but I got all my work done first.
I've been having allergies the last week or so--postnasal drip, itchy ears, and sore throat. It's not horrible, but it's annoying the hell out of me. Of course, the first day with a sore throat, I was paranoid that it was a cold or Corona. The next day, I had itchy eyes and ears, so that cleared up what was going on pretty quickly.
I'm hoping that today we'll be finding out how much the bonus is. Though yesterday they posted our regular checks on our portal, but no bonus check yet. I really want to know! Mostly I want to know what I can plan to pay off. I'm going to use a little bit for something really frivolous. I'm thinking about new rings for Jess and I. I just have to decide between sapphire and emerald. I really like both. Jess is still looking, so we'll see what they decide on.
