It's Saturday, so of course I woke up at 5:30. I stayed in bed til about 7, and then gave up on going back to sleep. Tomorrow, I'll be exhausted when 6am rolls around, of course. Bodies and brains are stupid some times.

Did, as expected, absolutely nothing yesterday except cook breakfast for dinner. Which is of course, a dirt simple meal. The hardest part is keeping the yolks intact when making over easy eggs. I managed three our of five eggs, which is a not too bad average for me. Tonight, I have to think of something interesting to do with pork chops. Whoo.

Have decided to take my bike to the bike shop to be assembled. It's just beyond my limited skill set. It's currently residing in the back of the car, awaiting transport. I just have to call the nice people at the bike shop to make sure they'll do that, since it's partially assembled. The people who made housecalls would only assemble a bike if it was still in a box.

Vacation is now 47 days away. I'm concerned what the Covid landscape will look like by then. We're pretty committed on going, since unless the park closes, everything is non-refundable. I think it'll be pretty safe, since 95% of the park is outside. I'm a little less sure about the indoor haunted houses, and the dining hall. We'll have to see what things are like then. There's several outdoor eating places, so we may just stick with them. Which would be a shame, as the Festhaus has German potato salad I'd like to try. But safety will definitely have to come first.

According to our scale, I've lost another 6 pounds on Rybelsus. Still not sure how I feel about it. Apparently, this is what a properly working pancreas does? Who knew? I've lost close to 40lbs at this point. At least my last weight at an urgent care in 2019 was around 284, and I'm now about 245. This is even smaller than I was when I was on Weight Watchers, and I haven't done a damned thing to get there except have my body parts actually working. Which makes all the years of being bitched at by doctors a little infuriating. The average weight loss on Rybelsus is 17%, which would put me around 220. I'll admit, if I get below 200, I'm going to be a little freaked out. I've had the ideal Rybelsus experience, though. I haven't really had any side effects from it. It's zapped my sugar back down where it's supposed to be--the weight loss is just that, a side effect.

Okay, I've rambled enough for the morning. Everyone have an amazing Saturday!
