And we're on to Saturday! It's going to be a mildly busy Saturday, as we have to go to the dump, Petsmart and Walmart, and be back in time for our Monster of the Week game. Thankfully, both Petsmart and Walmart are just pickups. Though Walmart took a good 45min to bring my order out last week, so it might not be the quick stop I'm hoping for.

Got everything done I needed yesterday, with a couple of hiccups. I was leaving the bank, which is about five minutes from our house, when I got a text that Dad's doctor was ready for his appointment, which I'd totally forgotten about. I hauled ass home, getting a call from her on the way, and I told her the link wasn't working. She resent it, and I got home to do the video call, only slightly out of breath from flat out running to get in the door. It went fine, everything looks good. Another video appointment in a month, and October's will be in the office for his flu shot.

Then, it was off to get the SD card for my camera. It worked, but again a hiccup, as the camera refuses to connect to either my or Jess's computer directly. Instead, we have to pull the SD card and put that in Jess' computer. I've ordered an SD card reader for mine so we don't have to do the enormous rigmarole of having them pull the files and upload them to Drive or Dropbox for me to DL, and then reuploading them to the video editing website. The first video wasn't that spectacular, but apparently the GoPro I got doesn't work best in low light. Also, because I was using the free version of the software, it exports in a very low quality.

Then, it was time to watch the Suicide Squad, which was everything I wanted it to be. Not a perfect movie, but a really, really fucking fun one. I'm sorry we didn't get to watch it on the big screen, but it was still enjoyable on my computer. I need more Bloodsport and Ratcatcher2 on my screen. And I'm eagerly awaiting the Peacemaker series next year. (Being a pro wrestling fan, I have a soft spot for John Cena, but he was really entertaining in this.)

The condo is booked and paid for, so I guess vacation is actually happening. There's a part of me that won't believe it until we are in Williamsburg, to be honest. Deep down, I'm convinced that we can't have nice things, and all the preparation will be for nothing. I hadn't realized how much in a rut we were until we had something to look forward to, and I feel a little selfish for doing it.

Okay, things to do today. First, more coffee and then onwards! Have a great Saturday, everyone!
