Okay, slightly less grumpy this morning, which I suppose is a start. Yesterday, I worked in the inbox, so there wasn't quite as much downtime to drive me crazy. My markets still didn't come in til late, so I'll still have stuff to do this morning. They may get done late, because I'm supposed to shadow my manager this morning. I mean, since they didn't come in til 4pm or later, it's not a big deal. We're supposed to return them in 24hrs, which gives me plenty of time.

Went to bed relatively early and did our normal podcast hour. We've been listening to Rusty Quill Gaming, but we're all caught up now, so we'll have to come up with a new one. Maybe the new arc of Critical Role. We shall see. At least tonight, we'll have the new Adventure Zone, so we don't have to decide right away. And Friday, there is D&D and therefore no podcast, because by the time we finish up, it is bedtime.

My sister is very talky today. This is not ideal for me in the morning. I really don't care what lighting does to a Ford truck, even if it split the dash board. She is both watching the news on her tablet, and surfing the web, and I am hearing about all of it. As it is currently not quite 7am, I am still in the "No talk me, I sleepy" phase of the day.

My allergies are kicking my ass the last couple of days. My eyes have been itching and watering up a storm. Hopefully, the Claritin kicks in soon.

I want my vacation to be now. It's so far off! Two whole months! It's the downside of being a planner. You get everything set up, then you have to wait forever for it to actually arrive. It's such a short little break, but it means so much when you haven't even had that for over a year. The closest thing to a break we've had was the one day we went boating, and that wasn't even a full day.

We're currently booked at the Hampton Inn near Colonial Williamsburg, which is a little further from the park than I wanted. Still, it has good reviews, and most importantly, no reports of bedbugs, which was the problem with my last choice for hotels. I'm still tempted, Hotwire has a 3 star hotel for $110, which would be a little cheaper. Of course, it doesn't tell you what the hotel is until you book it, and it's totally non-refundable. Still, it's very tempting.

Okay, time to shotgun the second cup of coffee and think about work. Have a good Thursday, y'all!
