Ugh, Sunday again. I don't really feel like doing work today. I woke up at 4, took my pill, and went back to dozing, so my alarm at 6 was an unwelcome surprise. Still, I'm upright and have imbibed first cup of coffee, even if I'm still yawning a bit.

Yesterday was boring, except for the bit in the middle where we had severe thunderstorms that scared the fuck out of me. I don't like storms. We got stuck in Hershey Park in the middle of a severe storm when I was maybe 11, where lightning was striking the rollercoaster ten feet away from me. We ended up huddling a tiny restaurant with a few hundred of our closest friends. It was a formative experience, and since then, they've freaked me out. When it got really bad (hit an apartment building up the road, which then caught fire), I went downstairs into the basement and hid. It was bad enough that it was even freaking out the cats, who normally don't give a fuck.

It passed with only a flicker of our power, however it does seem to have fried our TV. Which was old and pretty cheap, so no huge loss, though Dad is not pleased. He likes to play on his tablet while he has the TV on in his earphones He's pretty deaf, so we got him those earphones that you can set your own volume on without deafening the rest of the family--usually, he has them loud enough that I can follow the plot just off that, even if we mute the TV itself. He'll have to live without it until at least payday on Friday, then we will go over to Microcenter and get another one.

We're almost caught up on Rusty Quill. I believe we have one more episode to go, and then we're all caught up. We're up to date on Adventure Zone. We have not yet started the new season of Critical Role, so I imagine that's next. I've been debating getting into Dimension 20, as Jess really likes it.

I spent yesterday watching park vlogs of visits to Busch Gardens, and researching whether the "eat all day" plan is worth it. Answer, for us, probably. For $25 more, it lets you eat every 90 minutes with an entree, side/dessert and nonalcoholic beverage. Since an entree can run anywhere from $10-18, it should be good for us. I don't know that I can eat every 90 minutes, but I can give it a try!

I know it'll be here before I know it, but October seems like so far away! I want to go now, dammit. Everything looks like so much fun! Busch Gardens was named the most beautiful park in the world in some survey, and on the vlogs, everything looks so nice and clean, and green.

Also, why is it that it's cheaper to book a room with two queen beds than one king sized bed? This makes no sense to me. I mean, it's only $13 difference, but still. I am confused. I'd rather have the king room, personally. Either way, it comes with a microwave and mini fridge, which we can stock with water and some gatorade and snacks. Our meals should be taken care of, but since we're going to do a lot of walking, late night snacks may be in order.

Sorry, you've all got 2 1/2 months of me babbling about vacation, and then probably a couple of weeks of me babbling about it afterwards.

Okay, time to get dressed and get some more coffee before I have to go to work. Have a good Sunday everyone!
