I'm awake. More or less. Yesterday was a day. I did my markets, worked some on the magically replenishing project folder and generally what needed to be done. Nothing exciting. Which is pretty good for work. I don't really need exciting at work. That usually means that something is metaphorically on fire, and we don't need that.
Today is slightly more full. I get off work two hours early to take dad to the podiatrist for his bi-monthly toenail trim. So that's always fun. His appointment isn't til 4:30, so I'll have a little time to stop at Walmart and pick up our grocery order, and maybe even go pick up Dad's prescriptions from Safeway.
Tonight, we're trying a TTRPG via text instead of voice. It's called Lasers and Feelings, and it's meant to be an easy start game that doesn't require much prep on the GM's part. Which is good, because I have done almost no prep on this. I have a basic plot, as rolled on the one sheet for the game, and a starting plot I stole from Mission Impossible, and beyond that is going to be up to my players. It should be interesting! And hopefully fun!
No real plans for this weekend. Due to player schedules, D&D weekend was moved to next weekend. This is a looong stretch without D&D! Thankfully, I'll have the game tonight so I won't be jonesing too much.
Time to go forth and get ready for work, I suppose. Ugh. Oh well, it's a short day.
