Last night, I totally crashed. I was asleep by 8:30, and I did not wake up until 4am, when I took my pills and went back to bed until the alarm went off at six. I'm still a little tired, but much better than I was yesterday after two nights of little sleep. Apparently, some fireworks went off around 10pm, but I was apparently too deep to hear them. It was nice.
I'm hating the trike sitting on my back porch half finished. I want to take it for a ride, but I have to wait until the chain gets here, and then I still have to connect all the lines and put the front wheel and seat onto it. There's still a lot to do, and it's definitely going to have to be done one early morning. I'm a little concerned about hooking the gears and brake lines, since I've never done that before. If I have problems, I can always take it to a bike shop and ask them to help me. I think it'll fit in the back of my car.
Work today should be relatively boring. My one coworker and I got the project down to zero, so I'm not really sure what I'll be working on today. I know there are more emails to be added to the folder, so if that happens, I guess I'll be working on that. My market hadn't come in before I left, so there might be something to work in the morning, assuming they were open yesterday. Several of them just haven't been sending anything in. We've had one that's been MIA for more than 2 weeks. It's supposed to be sent daily, so I have no idea what's up with them.
We had to move D&D and MotW out an extra week, so I have time to come up with an epic mystery. It's going to be a fight against one of the party's nemeses so I've got to make it good. I have a few ideas, but we'll see how it goes down.
I decided that Jess and I are going to go on a mini vacation in October. I haven't told them where I'm thinking yet, but hopefully, we'll have some fun. I love planning, so this has made me happy, and I think it would be good for us to get away for a few days, even if it's only Thursday night to Saturday evening. I figure at the beginning of October, the weather should have eased up some, but not be too cold, either.
This is in addition to the possible HersheyPark trip in August. That would just be for a day trip, the October would be for a couple of days. It'll be good to have some us time.
Okay, I shall now have more coffee, and prepare for the day. At least the 2 hour team meeting isn't til tomorrow. Everyone have a lovely Tuesday!
