Well, we made it through Monday! Go team us!
Work was okay. I kept busy. The project is down to just over 400 orders, so that's good. Maybe by the end of next week, assuming no more get added, we'll be clear. It would be nice, though I don't know what I'll do with my free time if that happens. My actual markets, even on the days when they're heavy take about 2-3 hours. That leaves me with a lot of downtime. I usually help with the inbox, but that hasn't been that bad lately either. Ah well, time to decide on that later.
Here in Maryland, we're waiting for Brood X, the 17 year cicada swarm to emerge. I do not want. I may not go out for the entirety of the month to 6 weeks that they'll be hanging around. Not a fan of bugs in general, so this is not something that excites me. We'll see how the dog does with them. On one hand, he's a bit of a neurotic mess, so he may be afraid of them. On the other, he might want to eat them, and won't that be awesome?
I don't know what is with my brain that I keep waking up at 4:30 every morning. On one hand, it's incredibly convenient for the Rybelsus. I know there'll be well over the mandated 30 minutes before I put anything else in my stomach. But on the other, c'mon body, it's 4:30!. We still have an hour and a half to sleep!
Still waiting to hear back from the two jobs I've put in for. I don't expect to hear about the Bloom program for a while, but it's been two weeks on the Quality job. IKEA does not move quickly, I suppose, but I'm not particularly patient. Waiting is hard, y'all.
If I make it to the next step on the Bloom program, I have to do an introduction video. I have zero experience in making a videos, so this could be fun. I'm torn between the fact that I really, really want this, and the fact that with my lack of schooling, I don't think I can get it, so I'm trying to keep my expectations low.
Okay, time to put on pants and have the always important second cup of coffee. Hope everyone has a good, easy Tuesday.
