I forgot that I was using Disney lyrics for subject lines this week, but I got back on the bandwagon yesterday. No one said I had good concentration.
Didn't do a whole lot yesterday. Mostly relaxed, and watched the Great Pottery Throwdown Finale. I was happy with who won--I really liked him despite his white-boy-dreads. We also discovered that here are four seasons, so I'm looking forward to going through them.
We're yet again thinking about going mostly vegetarian, because I can't afford to keep spending $100 a week on meats at the Amish Market. I suggested Aldi, but since I have problems with their meat, it wasn't deemed a good option. So, we'll see what we are going to do. I don't know how much cheaper meatless is going to be, to be honest, but it can't hurt. The only down side to that, is that if it isn't starchy, it's hard to hit the 350 calorie mark that I need for my Latuda to work well. (I love the med, but the calorie requirement is a little bonkers.) It's a balance between that and the diabetes, which says starches are less than ideal. We'll work it out. Right now we're in the planning stages.
Occasionally, I'm still going to go to the Amish Market, because their steaks are the best, but it'll be more of a treat. I wish I liked more seafood than just crabs and shrimp, because they're expensive, but they taste the best to me.
It was kind of bizarre, on writer John Scalizi's blog, his daughter Athena was writing about her post Covid problems, and the big one for her was taste changes. Corona Leaves a Bad Aftertaste. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in meat and peanut butter tasting rancid. I'd seen a news blurb, but it wasn't quite as well written. I think I'm going to try smell training to see if it helps any. I don't know if it will, but it's something.
Okay, time for Swedish lessons while it's still quiet in here. Hope everyone has a good Saturday!
