Ugh. I did not want to wake up this morning. I slept pretty well, but when the alarm went off, I seriously considered snoozing it, which I never do. A cup of coffee has helped, but I could still go for a nap.
Dad has his doctor's appointment tomorrow, so today, I need to set up the new ramp for the little step at the back door, and also clean out my car. Plus find time to take a shower, because I don't want to go to the appointment looking greasy. I'll probably do the shower at lunch break, maybe. Still a little anxious, but we'll manage. I may take the wheelchair in case he gets tired.
Work was filled with bitch sessions yesterday. One of my coworkers called me twice, once with a third coworker on the call, to complain about the rest of our coworkers, and how the three of us tend to do everything. (Fair claim, we do end up doing most of the projects, plus we're always working the inbox.) She feels like we should take a break at covering for everyone. I'm not very good at that. I'm more of a "see a problem, fix a problem" mentality. If nothing else, it broke up the day a little bit.
My one market has like 20 orders that they claim to have not gotten. They say they've reported it on the correct report, but that group is up to date, and there are no cases. They sent me the truck #s, so I forsee a little detective work in my future. I don't think they're sending them to the correct email, or not sending them at all. Or, those orders weren't on the lists, because I can't imagine we could screw up on that many orders. It can't all be on the same truck, so that would be multiple screw ups on our end. One report might get accidentally deleted, but multiples for the same market?
The good thing, this is D&D weekend!! One more day! My murder muppets will go down into the creepy basement, and deal with the high-level wizard. Will they rush in and get their asses fried by a fireball? Will they try diplomacy? We'll find out tomorrow!
