Sitting outside the dentist office so I can go in and get my root canal. Yick.
On the other hand, this is step one of getting things straightened out. I can't fix my neck or my fibro (shy of major surgery on the neck, at least). But I can start taking responsibility for this. I have AWESOME dental insurance that's going to allow me to do this. Finally.
I've spent most of my adult life being embarrassed about how my smile looks. In more recent years, especially, I haven't had the money to fix it, plus the neck issues make it a doubly unpleasant process.
But it's time. Hopefully, by Wincon, I'll have a nice smile for the first time since I was a teenager.
