If I may be schmoopy for a moment...

About nine years ago, I met a beautiful woman. She was funny, she was smart, she wrote things that made me smile, or cry, or get really, really hot and bothered. *grin* I started talking to her online, and in no time flat, I had a massive crush on her. Turned out, she had one on me, too! We started dating, and just over eight years ago, I flew out to Chicago to meet with her.

Seven years ago, she moved to Baltimore, to be with me.

And finally, five years ago today, we stood in front of our friends and promised to love, honor, and cherish forever. It's been rough going sometimes, between both of our health issues, finances, school, work, and family. But through it all, we both have known that no matter what, the other would always be by our side.

Today, I love her more than ever, and she's still the most beautiful woman in the world to me.

Happy Fifth Anniversary, my love. I'm so lucky to have you in my life.
