Is Monday over? Please? Seriously.
Yeesh. We brought Samwise into our bedroom yesterday. The window is still open, but that will change as we go along. He did pretty well, but due to the jingly collar and his need to shift around every hour or so, sleep wasn't deep, and was somewhat sporadic.
I figure we'll give him a week or so of in-out before we close the window for good. Then, project Kitty Stockholm will commence. *nod* He's awfully sweet, though, spending a good chunk of yesterday evening sprawled between us on the bed purring his little brains out. He has no shame, and will lay on his back between us, just stretched out. It's very cute.
Today, for some reason, Jess really wanted Dunkin Donughts coffee, so we stopped at the one down the street from my work. We were getting in line when a man kindly informed us that our back tire was flat. Mind you, that's all he did. Five men, staring at us from inside, watching two women jack up a car. Fortunately, there's an NTB next door to the DD, so we had new tires put on, and then walked up to my work and waited for them to call.
I feel like I've done more work already than I normally do on a Monday. Yeesh.
But, as Jess said, the Lady was kind. It happened in a public area, not the beltway, and next to an NTB, within walking distance to my office, and on a relatively nice day. So, all in all, I won't bitch...much.
Hope everyone's having a good Monday!
