Or at least it's seemed like it lately. I've sat down to do an update practically every day this week, and yet here we are.
I've gotten everything but Grandmom's present for Christmas, and that I'm hoping to do this evening, so Christmas is looking good. I'll be dropping Jess off at the airport tomorrow morning so that she can go visit her parents for a couple days. I'll miss her, but with her mother's health issues, I totally understand why she feels like she has to go. She'll be back late Monday, so it won't even be that long without her.
On Wednesday, we broke down and joined Merritt Athletic Club in Towson. Nice place overall, but I won't lie. The main selling point was the Therapy Pool, in addition to the regular pool. The therapy pool is kept at a warm 94 degrees, which is ideal for exercising my bad shoulder. Plus, other fun things to do. We've got a 30 day money back, so we're going to give it a good try, see how things go.
On Sunday, I got an e-mail that made me deeply happy. It seems that after three years out of the business, Dan has decided to bring back Maryland Championship Wrestling! *prance* I've missed them so! It'll be nice to see them again. And in a odd, but amusing note, guess who's going to be the big names on the first show? (Much to Jess' squee) The former New Age Outlaws. *grin* I told her I'd pay for a picture with them. She's debating. I've already had to swear that I won't use the name Nix to embarrass her, just in case they pay attention to the 'net. *smirk* Like I would do that to her? Uh. don't answer that.
That pretty much covers my update, I think. I'm hoping Jess will get off work early, so I can get out early, too! *nod*
