Had a lovely weekend, between a busy Saturday, and fun Sunday, though I came out of it feeling like I needed another couple days to recover!
*grin* Saturday was Samhain, which went off beautifully. Froze our asses off, but it worked out. Did many cool things, as well as a bit of work for our beloved [Unknown site tag] and her father.
Pumpkin was mildly cranky about lighting, mosly due to a lack of tin foil to keep it dry, but it finally blazed up. Hopefully, next year, we'll get a better column of flame out of it.
So many people this year! As Den said, it's basically become liturgy. We switch up elements now and then, but for the most part, it's pretty set. Hopefully, it was fun, and meaningful for all those who attended.
Sunday was shooting with Den, which was lovely. I picked up a shiny new pair of Reeboks from Kohl's, and had a good lunch at Friendly's, then wen't down and blasted the hell out of some paper targets. Go team us. Then, back home to relax and read while Jess worked on a paper for school tomorrow.
Then, as Iron Chef America wasn't on last night, we watched the Halloween Tree, and snarked about them seriously raping the Edward Scissorhands score. Then, sleepytime. *nod*
Today, work until 6, then hurry home to hand out candy to the kiddies. *nod*
