Had a lovely weekend, full to the brim of bad, bad movies. Friday night, we did the Weight Watchers Beginners exercise tape. I think they're trying to kill me. As of today, I finally feel like I've mostly recovered from it. Saturday, we attempted to do a yoga tape. That didn't go well, so we'll hold off for a while on that one. Did belly dancing instead. Tonight, since I doubt I'm going to get out early enough to go to full moon with the coven, we may walk at Ikea or something. We shall see. I'm hoping to make my 10% this week, cause next week is the Greek Festival and I know I'm not losing anything then. *nod* Mmmm...baklava and galatobouriko, and pastichio, and...Well, you get the idea.

On Friday, we snuggled in to watch a video we'd rented: The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Let me just say, I know what I'm bringing to crappy movie night next time. It was hysterical! They set out to make a parody of/homage to the bad old monster of the week movies. Cheesy effects, stilted dialogue, cliched characters, the whole mess. Sample bit of dialog. "I have created a female with the alien's raygun. I created you--out of four different forest animals. I will name you...Animala. Yes. Somehow, that seems fitting."

Saturday, being Yom Kippur, I had off, so we slept late, and then spent most of the day keeping an eye on Grandmom. Planted our tree from Home Depot, it looks lovely. We'll probably pick up a couple more next week, and plant them as well. We also planted mums out in the front yard. They look nice, and give it a festive fall look. *grin* This makes me happy. Then, we went to Don Pablos for a nice dinner, even dressed up a bit, though my denim skirt is getting a little too loose. I think that may be my last wearing. After dinner, we headed off to see "Resident Evil: Apocalypse."

Not a horrendous movie, surprisingly. Hot chicks, Oded Fehr, and lots of guns. All in all, aside from the seizure inducing quick cuts, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Alice is becoming a bit of a Mary sue, but so far she's pretty cool.

Yesterday, we were highly productive. Grocery shopped, cleaned the hamster cage, cooked dinner, got a new pair of capri pants on clearance, and watched Jeepers Creepers2. Baaad movie. Really bad. Entertaining, but bad. Cheesy Effects, bad rubber mask, etc. Not particularly scary, but it totally made up for it with an utterly cynical ending.

Now, I shall go forth and do some more work. Oh, happy day.
