So, weekend was mostly spend shopping and baking. There's a couple of people on my list who I hate buying for. Sadly, those are usually the ones who I absolutely love, and want to make happy with my present most of all. It makes shopping for them an absolute bitch, though.

I have baked 11 two pound loaf butter-rum cakes in the last two days. The sad thing is, I'm still not sick of it. I love these cakes. They taste wonderful, they're easy to make, and they take so damn long to bake that you can get the entire coven's present's wrapped in the interim.

Of course, with all the baking, and cooking and wrapping, I did a dumb thing last night, and grabbed my bedside inhaler instead of my normal one. I put my older ones on the bedside, leave them there to use in the middle of the night. Problem was, while I got dressed, I left my full inhaler there, too. This meant that I had to leave Yule early, before ritual. *sniff* Also, I scared the shit out of my baby, and probably several of my coven mates.

Was okay once I got a hit of Albuterol, though Jess also shoved me in the shower and made me hot tea. I love my baby.

Am hoping to make it to New Moon, to prove that I still live. *nod* I felt horrible running out, but I was afraid that if I didn't, it would get worse--which, as Jess says, proves that I have learned a few things this year. Last year, I'd have tried to tough it out, and ended up having more problems. *nod*

Today, we don't have too many patients, but the phone's been batshit. Dumb people. Don't they know they were supposed to go away?

In other news, I want to go see RotK again, but I don't know when we can find the time. It's hard, making a 4 hour commitment during the holidays. Eh, we'll figure it out somehow.
