*grin* Thank you so much! Yeah, I can totally see Dean as much more mature than most kids. John would be torn between pride and regret that Dean didn't get to be a child. But yeah, I could totally see him trying to avoid dealing with the counselor, thinking he's going to get the "he's so bright, but he doesn't apply himself" or the "Your son seems like a very troubled young man" speech. Though, somehow, the "we think Dean should apply to some colleges/ be put in the AP classes" speech would be worse.
