Ah well.

At least today I don't have any patients that should provide as much a fight as yesterday's. Yesterday, I had a thirteen year-old sink her fingernails into my shoulder. Ow. She also made me work for the two shots she was due, as it became a case of "will I stab her, or my hand?" Fucking thirteen! I mean, I understand not liking shots, but daaamn, get over it already.


I'm working my way through "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West." So far, it's been interesting, if a bit scattered. I'm hoping later in the book, he pulls it all together somehow. The play is coming to the Kennedy Center in DC in December, or to the Music and Arts Center in Philly in March. I'm leaning towards trying for Philly and calling it our anniversary celebration. Tickets are ususally less expensive there, anyway. Of course, then we'll be paying for the room too. Must consider and think on this. Hmmmm....


ETA: This is a joke, right? Why, in the name of all that is holy do we need a Smurf movie? They weren't that good in the 80's, they won't be good now. *sigh* The monkeys have been typing again...

It's possible, but I don't think you'd live past the incision. It's a long cut from your uterus to your shoulder.

Yeah I felt that way too. I got it out of the library on tape but only made it half way through before I had to return it. I wasn't really invovled with them to re-new them. I liked "Stepsister" er the Cinderella book.
