beansideI spend more time lately half asleep at work. This time, I lay the blame squarely at the doorway of one JJ Abrams and his damned cliffhangers.
Damn you, JJ! We hates you!
Okay, we totally don'ts, but there was some serious shrieking and flailing at the television last night. First of all, I totally called that they were after Walt. Go me! The "Others" were duly creepy and kinda freaky. Also, I love Hurley. And, DAMMIT! No heroin, Charlie! Bad Hobbit! Also, I was totally rooting for Kate to blow up like Artz. *nod* I still can't stand her. However, Jack has grown on me.
The flashback to the plane was just painful, especially watching Locke have to be carried onto the plane. Also, the Boone/Shannon bits. And poor, poor Jin and Sun. Also, Sayid just about broke me with the "It will not be too much if I carry it for you."
And so help me, JJ, Sawyer better be alive. I need my hot redneck, dammit. Thanks for the shirtless shots, though. Nice fanservice there.
And then, there was Alias. Episode was pretty cool, with some moments that just made me squee. Marshall and Weiss in charge were just cracking me up. They should be paired up more often. Also, JJ, pay Lena Olin whatever she wants for next season. Just please, get her back. She and Victor Garber have more chemistry just by being onscreen together than most screen couples do in bed.
Their scenes together were...indescribable. Especially the "No, I'm going to let him torture you/I'm trying to have more fun in my life" scene. Just beautiful, and note perfect. I would pay a great deal of money for another SpyDaddy/SpyMommy sex scene. Yes, please, want some of that, mmm.
Sloane shooting Nadia was surprisingly owie. And the scene with Syd and Sloane in prison was lovely, especially Ron Rifkin's look when she informed him that she'd arranged for him to see Nadia. It was this wonderful expression of bewilderment, awe and gratitude that nearly broke my heart.
Then...that ending. JJ, I hate you so much. *grin* But I'll be watching come fall. I'm betting that Sydney breaks her spine or something so that they can justify her sitting behind a desk to hide the pregnancy.
Am taking advantage of free listings on ebay to sell off a couple of never worn fancy dresses from Torrid that I've shrunk out of. So far, one has sold on Buy it Now status. This makes me happy. *grin* Extra cash, and less crap cluttering up my closet.
