Date: 2005-05-09 04:02 pm (UTC)Man, I hate Zyrtec. Twice that shit has knocked me out. The first time I was gaming, and I fell asleep at the table with 5 friends, and in the middle of combat (in D&D--the closest we get to combat is fighting over the last of the turkey jerky), I fell asleep, sitting upright, while people rolled dice and talked loudly around me. It was a sample of the stuff, so I hadn't read the warning label, and my same supplier offered it to me at a Superbowl party a few months later, and I almost fell asleep driving home on the freeway. I am never, ever going near that stuff again.
Which reminds me, I need to make an appointment with my doc to get a regular supply of Flonase. Right now, someone else is supplying me with samples of the stuff. Which I would, you know, feel guilty about except 1)It's Flonase. I know all the drug info on that one in gory detail thanks to the old job and 2)my last "health insurance" prescribed Nasarel, which is so foul tasting that the remnants dripping down the back of my throat almost made me throw up every single time I snorted it and 3)taking samples of Flonase cannot be as bad for me as clawing the skin of the back interior of my throat, which is what I'm tempted to do when I don't have it and my allergies act up.
Ah, seasonal allergies. Aren't they grand.
Hang in there.
