I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was brimstone in his throat.

I'm so glad it's Friday. The protocol classes are interesting at the beginning, but by the end, it's just exhausting. It's the same information over and over again. And I did 7 days in a row of it. My brain is kind of fried.

The fire test was easy as hell. While I was doing it, I kept going "Is this too easy? Am I actually bombing this?" I was done easily half an hour before everyone else. But no, it was just easy. I got 100% on it. I was rather pleased. And I got the rare smile from our instructor, which was nice.

I actually really like our instructor. He's tough, but fair. And he does little things to help us along. Like handing out the incident code list, with a handful of them highlighted, because they're on the test. So we'll know what to prepare for.

Now that the last of the protocol tests is out of the way, I've got to buckle down and study the stuff for the test on Tuesday. I feel like I've lost some stuff by not studying every day, but hopefully, it'll come back quickly.

I've always liked Halloween, so hopefully that's a good omen. I would have to completely bomb the test to fail, and I don't think I'm going to.

Today, we're learning the software that houses the protocol. For the tests we were using these ginormous flip cards. It'll be interesting to play with the software. Though I'm sure I'll be tired out by the time we get to the end of the day.

Time fir me to get myself dressed and ready. Everyone have an lovely Friday!
