*sigh*
Am still car-less. Ford says they'll call me Monday. I thought that was why I hurried to get it to you on Friday, guys. So that I could get it back today? Ring a bell? Yeesh. Jess is being wonderful about letting me borrow her car, but it has its own problems. I really didn't want to make it do the trip down to Sonya's, but oh well. Jess has class tomorrow, and it'll just have to manage. Will hang the Bast-dedicated pentacle in it.
We wandered over to Turning wheel yesterday, got Jess a pentacle. It's very cool, they call it a "Pan" pentacle, but I don't see it. It's got fucking ivy leaves. Not my first thought when I think of the God.
Today, I got a bill from a creditor that I had arranged a payoff with. I deeply amused Jess by calling and going postal on some underling's ass. He was being deliberately obtuse, and acting like he had no idea what the hell I was talking about.
According to my beloved, I'm very cute when I go all snarly at them. He deserved it. I requested a supervisor twice before I lost it, informing him that, in my mind, the continued bills that I was recieving constituted harrassment, and I would not hesitate to call my lawyer if it continued. He very snidely informed me that in the unlikely event they had made a mistake, they would correct it. I got even more pissed, and told him that they had made a mistake, and that I would expect some sort of restitution when I faxed this over. He said that it wasn't his call, and I asked who it would be? He gave me bullshit that he didn't know, and I called him on it, said he'd just said that someone would decide, who would it be. Their legal department. Fine. Transfer me to them. Now. He can't do that. So, I informed him that he needed to get me someone who could, immediately. According to Jess, I had my head bobbing and all.
Five minutes later, I had a supervisor with a brain, who fixed the problem. I came out of it happy, and doing a little "better than you" dance in the key of "E." James would be horrified.
*grin* So, onward to tomorrow. *shrug* Here's hoping things pick up soon.
