Everyday seems a little longer, every way, love's a little stronger

And it's back to work day, boo. The weekend is never long enough. At least I'll have stuff to do, since my friend J is out. I'll be doing his markets as well as mine, so that'll keep me busy for a little while. It might be 11 before I'm back to being bored.

Yesterday was very low key. We had a game at 12, we didn't do a whole lot otherwise aside from the normal dad caretaking stuff. Which granted, can be a lot. Fortunately he mostly waited for bathroom breaks to need things, so my sister didn't have to do a ton. There was one point when we were playing that he started yelling for her repeatedly, where I was about to throw my headset and go check on him. (She can be a little slow getting up, but she was hurrying.) He couldn't reach the urinal and had to go, apparently. Why this required scaring the crap out of us, I have no idea, but wow.

It has now been 48 hours, so apparently Yoda passed the chicken bones safely. I worry about my babies. He's prone to rolling over and pulling his fur and whining, so every little whimper, I would be a little freaked out.

My nail polish says it's not coming til next Friday. That'll be over two weeks from when I bought it. In the age of Amazon, that feels way too long. A week, sure. You're not Amazon, I can understand that long, but two weeks? I bought stuff from your Pride collection, and by the time I get it, it'll be halfway over. I mean, I want my Adam Lambert X Orly nail polish, so I'm going to wait, but damn. I'm not good at delayed gratification.

Apparently, I need to get used to it, because I just read that our BPAL order may take up to 21 days to ship. At least that makes some sense. Small business, hand blending oils, I can see it being a little slower. We hadn't ordered from them in a little while, but as I recall, even pre-covid they were not the quickest at shipping. And sometime in July we will have nice smelly things. We got a bunch of the little imps to try out a wide range of perfumes. And we got another imp of my favorite of theirs, Red Queen. I hardly ever wear perfume, so an imp will last me forever. (Red Queen is: Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant.)

Okay, I suppose it's about time for me to get myself together.

Everyone have a banger of a Sunday!

I haven't ordered any BPAL in years, but Red Queen does sound delicious. I wonder how it would smell on me?
