Just to do your thing's the hardest thing to do
It's Sunday, which means back to work day. Ew. And from texting with a friend who works the Tues-Sat schedule, I know we are going to be walking into a total clusterfuck. They had like 3 people in there yesterday so not a whole lot got done. The bitching from my team is going to be legendary. The LQRs (load quality reports) had no one for two and a half days, so they are going to be insane. Probably over 50. And there's one, maybe two people who work them on Sun-Mon.
I'm going to try to redirect the troops from bitching to working, but we shall see. I have an interview for an Assistant Team Lead on Monday at noon, so it'll give me another thing to talk about.
So, work is probably going to be annoying and stressful, but once I'm done, we have our third (and final) game of the weekend! The continuation of Lost Mines, now that the main plot line is done. I've come up with a bit of a plot line, but one that's going to make me thread the needle on keeping the tone light and fun with a potential horror element, but I think I've got it figured out. If all else fails, a helpful bystander is useful to point them in the right direction.
It snowed a little yesterday, actually laid on the grass and cars. That's the most snow we've seen so far this winter. Admittedly, MD weather can be weird, and we can have snow into March, so we're not in the clear yet, but this has been an exceptionally mild February.
