I believe I've waited long enough, where do I begin?
Today's subject is brought to you via one of my favorite movie-connected songs, this one from the original Thor movie, and by the awesome Foo Fighters. This one is called Walk, and is one of my happy songs that I listen to when I need a pick me up.
I don't actually need a pick me up this morning, but I am happy. Today marks sixty days til Disney, which meant that it was time to book some dining! I was a little concerned about the California Grill, since it was a Friday night around fireworks time, fortunately it was available! I actually got all my first choices, which made me very happy, since I (of course) wanted some of the hot commodity restaurants. But, I got California Grill, Ohana and Boma all at the times I wanted! Now hopefully the weather behaves, and there are fireworks that Friday that we can watch from our table.
Yesterday at work it was a boring day. I worked Pending Returns as much as I could stand. I did have a couple of markets come in, so that was a little break. Today, at least I'll have my normal markets to do, so that'll keep me busy for the morning at least.
I did spend the morning writing out some holiday cards. If you want one, please go to here and add your address. All comments are screened, and will be deleted as soon as I've pulled the information. I'm not planning to go to the post office until Friday, so you have a little bit of time. I'm not adverse to sending international cards. My D&D group lives around the world, which is why I'm heading to the post office to send stuff.
Now that everything is booked, I have nothing else to do before vacation. This will drive me off my rocker. I want to be able to plot down to the last minute. 60 days til Disney! 59 days until we leave for the loooong drive down. I'm really hoping to get at least 8-10 hours into it on day one, so I have less time on Day 2, just 4-6 hours. It's going to mean driving into the night, but I'll manage. I have a friend who suggests that we drive through the night to avoid traffic, and I did consider that. I'm figuring we go til 11-12, which would be 10-11 hours, assuming that we're able to leave around 1, but that's kind of up to my brother in law, who has agreed to come over and watch Dad so we can get out before rush hour.
My hat came! It is adorable, and I love it. It'll definitely keep the sun off my face a bit, and it looks very fancy and a little silly. Which is perfect for Disney. It's not quite as crushable as I was hoping, but I can live with that. I will just have to hold it when we're on rides.
Okay, time for me to get myself together for work. Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday!
