The only thing that works for me, help me get away from myself

It's Wednesday! My last day of work for the week! Also, shaping up to be my most difficult day of the workweek, so that's something.

Yesterday was not horrible. I did my markets, then had some downtime before not!manager(S) hit me up to do some pending returns. As I was doing them, it seemed like I was following a coworker on his team who had worked them the day before. And wow, she had fucked them up. After about the tenth one, I gently broached to S that his team needed more training on this. And I think I have fucked myself over, because now I will be training her today. I'm going to suggest to Sam that I just write a training manual instead and do a group training, because that would be less stressful for me. Plus, if I do it that way, it's not like I'm specifically coming for her.

S ended up calling me twice regarding the queue. First to tell me that he'd updated the spreadsheet, and could I take a look. Second was when I pinged him about his coworker's mistakes. During that call, he floated the idea of me being transferred to the Staten Island team. They're still 100% remote, so it could totally work, and then he'd be my manager again. I doubt the powers that be would go for it, but I'd be behind it. Even if I still had to go into the Baltimore office once a week, I'd be okay with it. I'd even be willing to take Megabus up to NYC once in a while if I need to. Mostly, it gave me a warm fuzzy that he values me enough that he wants me back.

I also have all my markets, two emails about the Buffalo market (it is my circus, it is my monkeys) and the rest of the fucked up spreadsheet to finish. I'm hoping to forestall training for today, and make the training material first. I think if I float that to S, he'll bite. He fucking loves having me make training documents.

After work, it's off to get my Covid and Flu shots. I'm nervous, not about the shot itself, but about what the side effects will be. The third Covid shot wasn't bad, but I'm still traumatized by the second one. Flu normally isn't a problem. Oh well, at least I took off from work tomorrow to recover.

Okay, time to get myself together. Have a good Wednesday, everyone!

I had the new booster a couple of weeks ago, the fourth shot. I had covid this past summer so I was concerned how I'd react but I had no side effects at all. With the first two shots, oh yeah, I had reactions. It was minimal for my third shot and I've only ever had a reaction to the flu shot once, 10 years ago. I hope your's went well and you had the same reaction in did.
