You know the tune so the words don't matter
And it's Monday. Ew. Actually, double ew, since I had yesterday off. I woke up with a bit of a headache and I really don't feel like working. It's not bad enough that I'm going to call out, but I probably won't be at my best. Then again, if J did my markets, I may have nothing to do at all, so I guess it's not a problem. I just need to perk up by the time I get off work, so I can make dinner.
Had a lovely Sunday at Confabulation. I started out the day doing my panel on D&D, which was pretty well attended. It went pretty well, though I probably could have stood a couple more slides. I had two more quiet shifts watching the discord, and enjoyed the MCU panel and the Divorcing the Creator panel a great deal. After the MCU panel, I ended up doing a flash panel on how to create a character and how to play D&D. It ended up only being one person, but since I have a feeling that they may be in one of my future games, it was all good.
Next October, they're looking at returning to an in person con, which I'm not entirely sold on. First, it's in Chicago. Second, Covid. I guess we'll see. I'd really like to go, I just don't know if we can afford the $$ to rent a car, pay for hotels and food. We'll just have to see if we can work it out.
This is a TTRPG week. We've got
poisontaster's game on Wednesday, Strahd on Friday, Lost Mine on Saturday, and then a rare Sunday Monster of the Week. I have a LOT of prep to do for the weekend. Especially MotW. There's so many threads the team could pull on, and I have no clue which one I want to go with. Thankfully, Wednesday all I have to do is settle in and play my little chaos muppet.
Okay, time to get myself together, and get ready for work. Everyone have a wonderful Monday!
