And never did I think that I would be caught in the way you got me
Today, we hop slightly sideways from Fall Out Boy to Panic! at the Disco for our subject line. It's not a far jump, admittedly.
Yesterday was a mostly quiet day. We just took it easy and relaxed. I continued to watch videos about Disneyworld, which seems to have plenty of content. I've been mostly sticking to the Disney Food Blog (as suggested by
topaz119 and AllEars. They seem to mostly agree on their tips. I'm sure I'll branch out as time goes on. I have a year and a half until the planned trip, so I have plenty of time to plot. I can't even officially book until next year, but I'm keeping an eye on things. So that was most of my day yesterday.
We also played D&D, but since the module is pretty new, I've decided not to recap, due to spoilers. Just in case someone reading wants to play. The other game, Rime of the Frostmaiden has been out for a while. Plus, I've ended up homebrewing a fair amount of that, since my players are total chaos muppets. Wild Beyond the Witchlight is a little more linear, more fetch quest than open world.
Today, it's back to work. I shall see if I have any markets to do, or if my coworkers have already taken care of that. I'm not sure which I would prefer. On one hand, boredom. On the other, I woke up at 2:30 in the morning with an allergy attack and took some benadryl around 3:30, and did not go back to sleep at all. Plus the Benadryl has me a little bit woofled, so a day of staring at the screen also sounds appealing. I guess we shall see.
I'm still snuffly and my ears itch, which is my standard allergy attack. At least my eyes aren't too itchy. I can "scratch" my ears by moving my tongue back to rub against the back of my soft palate, but to much of that, and my throat starts to hurt, so all in all, I can't win.
Hopefully, it'll be a quiet, chill day, and I'll be able to read and relax and be stoned.
On the plus side, my next Good Chop order should arrive Friday. My choices locked in as of yesterday. I'm still not sure I'm made the best selections, but they'll have to do. I got a small container of sea scallops, which I'm looking forward to having with the ribeye steaks. I love scallops, so I'm really excited. I know 10oz is probably enough for everyone to only have a few. I also got 2lbs of precooked tiny shrimp. Jess doesn't like shrimp, so if I use it for scampi, I'll make them something different. We also got more chicken and pork chops as well as ground beef and bacon. The important things, after all.
Okay, that's about it for this morning. Everyone have a good Monday if you can!

Odd question - what do delivery windows for Good Chop look like? I keep being tempted by your descriptions, but since I'm out at work all day deliveries of perishables can be risky. Is it the kind of thing that one could reliably schedule to arrive in the evening, or is it "will show up sometime today"?

Totally worth the money for us, though. Everything tasted so good!

But I saw some news related to a fandom we had in common in the past (after I logged off from D&D, I saw it, that is), and i immediately thought of y'all.

I update daily because it helps my mental health to journal, but I know it's been a rough year for you. Update when you have the spoons to do it. We'll all be here.
