Truth is that it was always going to end
Today, getting out of bed was difficult. I woke up at 5, took my Rybelsus and dozed back off. It made that alarm at 6 very annoying. As I've said many times, on the days I have off, I'm inevitably up between 6-7, but on workdays, I'd really like to sleep in.
But, I've sucked down my first cup of coffee, so let's do this.

poisontaster sent me this link about how Old Navy is making their stores more plus size inclusive, where everything will be offered up to size 30 at the same prices as their skinny people clothes, starting on August 20th. They're also reworking their clothes to fit better on all body sizes, and also making their sleeve holes a little less likely to show off bras (which they definitely needed to do. This will of course, necessitate a trip to Old Navy to figure out what the fuck size I am now. To be fair, I needed to do that anyway, because of the weight loss.
I have a group meeting with one of the higher ups to address knowledge gaps in our current system. They had another meeting on Tuesday with other people, and I'd imagine we're going to raise many of the same issues. The biggest one we'd like to know is about work from home, and apparently they have no information about that. Which is annoying. Literally the last time we heard about plans was back in August of last year, when we were supposed to go back to work in January. This came and went without a word, and here we are a year later. I'd like to stay at home permanently, but either way, I'd like to know. There are other issues I'll bring up, but really, that's the big one.
Torrid says my package will arrive tomorrow! Very excited! I really want my clothes very badly. Especially the bras. It'll feel weird to have bras that fit again.
Because our subject line made me think of it, I offer you one of my favorite fan vids set to Panic! at the Disco's "The Good the Bad and the Dirty."
And on that note, time for more coffee and to get dressed. Have a good Thursday, everyone!
