They say it's what you make, I say it's up to fate

Feeling slightly better today. The last 36 hours sucked y'all. I don't regret getting the shot, mind you, and I'll be there when it's time for the third shot, but wow. The repeated vomiting was a little much, as was the massive dizziness. Today, I just have a really nasty headache and am overall achy and tired.

The Cow Palace at the fairgrounds where they do the shots wasn't anywhere near as crowded this time. I was in and out really quickly, even with having to stay 30 minutes (because I've had anaphlaxis from medication before). The chick who did my shot this time wasn't quite as good as the first time. I actually felt this one.

Yesterday, I slept. All day. I got up occasionally, but mostly I laid in bed with Yoda. He's a good sleepy friend.

My sister got hers last night, and is very tired and sore today. She had no reaction from the first shot. I'm a little worried about Dad's shot tomorrow. He gets shaky and weak when he gets a fever, and we don't want him to fall. Hopefully, he doesn't have a rougher time of it.

I'm debating on the merits of calling out from work today. I'll see how I feel after some ibuprofen.

For now, I'm going to try some coffee and see if that settles. Yesterday I drank nothing but ginger ale and coke to try to keep my stomach happy.

I did call out! I feel a bit better today. Just generally achy and tired and headachy. (Never can tell if that's just the normal, or something to do with the shot, though.)
