As the storm blows on, out of control
So, yesterday was more exciting than expected!
We went to take Yoda to the groomer,and about a quarter of the way there, my sister's car started making bad noises. Then, it started shuddering, then I pulled the fuck over on the side of the beltway. Turned out the rear tire had just shredded all along the side wall. I called my sister, and she came and got Yoda and Jess in our car, and transported them to the groomer while I waited for Geico to send someone to change the tire. They made it in good time, and that was taken care of and the stupid donut was put on.
NTB couldn't guarantee that they'd be able to get to the tire today, so I put in for an appointment on Sunday at Mr. Tire. They called and asked if I was interested in getting it done today, since they weren't busy. I felt like since I was driving the car, it was on me to do it, so I went over and waited an hour for them to put on a brand new tire.
Then, once I got home, it was getting close to when Snazzy Jazzy's closes, so we headed up to wait for Yoda. With all that, we did not make it to the Amish market, so we're going to work with Safeway food for the week.
Oh, and I had a raging headache the whole day. Which made everything fun.
All in all, I don't feel like Saturday was a particular "Day off" and I'm really glad I have Monday and Tuesday off, even if there's a chance I'll feel like crap from the vaccine. It's still time off.
Today, it's back to work, probably on the teamwork folder. We'll see if any progress has been made on it during Friday and Saturday, or if more shit has been added.
I'll have all my markets to do first, so we'll see how long those take before I can get to it. If nothing's changed, I'm hoping I can get it down around 400.
Okay, I guess it's time to put on pants and get myself ready for work. Well, leggings, at least.
