You're stuck in the middle of all irrelevance
Seems like I had two nights of glorious sleep, and now I'm back to sleeping for shit. I woke up at 2, and never quite got back to sleep.
On the plus side nearly 80% of Americans say Biden won the White House.
On the less plus side, Trump's team continues to deny the results and move forward with what I'd tentatively call a coup. Hopefully, they're too stupid to make it stick, but I have an anxious about it. The worst thing is that he has 70 days to get his shit ready, and Biden can't do dick until Jan 20. The US system is fucked up. I know that's supposed to be so we'll be ready for the peaceful transition, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
In the meantime, Covid is surging, and we're being hung out to dry. Even MD is only reducing our restaurant capacity. Now it's 50%. We should be closing back down, and getting a good two week reset, especially with Thanksgiving coming up. I know that would be hard on businesses, and some who made it through the first shutdown might not be able to handle a second, but we're at over 5% postivity rate again. (Which I know is nothing compared to South Dakota and Utah, but for MD, it's not a good trend.)
Sorry, I'm kind of doom and gloom today. I'll be better tomorrow, I promise.

it's ok to be gloomy; this world, with covid and US politics being so awful, isn't a fun shiny happy place just now
