Already Tuesday?
It's been so dreary here that the days are just kind of blurring into one another. It's not supposed to let up for the next week, either. We might see the sun on Saturday, if we're lucky. It's that time of year, I guess.
Yesterday, thankfully was a little warmer, so I was able to ditch the long sleeve shirt. Normally, it's a tank top, so it was a concession to put on something warmer.
I feel like the next week or so is going to be one long low-level panic attack. At least until the election is over. Then we'll see what happens. I'm going to go vote on Friday, with early voting. Maryland's not a swing state, so my vote doesn't count all that much, but I'm going to put it in, dammit. At least then I can say I did my part.
Had a migraine last night, which culminated in me crying for half an hour. Shelly went to vote (on opening day for early voting) and as such was very late getting home. It meant that Jess and I went to bed later than usual, and by the time we got downstairs into the cool darkness of the basement, I was really hurting. I also felt a little bad for being a bit surly. Since it was so late, we offered to put dad to bed, and I really, really didn't want to, and I think it showed, so I felt guilty about that, and felt like I'd let Jess down. So, crying jag. At least I slept pretty well afterwards. Still have a headache this morning, but not as bad as last night.
I really wish I knew why on days I have to get up at 6:30am, I could sleep later, but on days off, I'm up at 7am. It's one of the great mysteries of life.
