Well, I survived the interview. I think I did okay, though I feel like I was thoroughly grilled. Now, I shall wait and see. It was two of the Direct Managers who interviewed me, and I know both pretty well. It went close to an hour, which is one of the longest interviews I've ever had. Jess thought I sounded pretty good. (It was over Microsoft Teams, so I was sitting in my living room, hearing Dad gently snore behind me.) Ugh. I hate waiting. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long. They said by the end of the week, which isn't bad.

Aside from that, not much going on at casa beanside & nilchance. It's been very hot here, which has sucked. Maryland summers are not great. I'm looking forward to fall. Even our newly replaced AC unit has been struggling to keep up with 106 degree heat indexes. Our house is over 50 years old, and was built for efficient heating. Not so much for the cooling. All the vents are near floor level, and of course, cold does not rise. So the dog and cats are comfy, but the people have fans on.

glad to hear it went well, good luck! I wondered when you didn't post last night. The heat down here in NOVA is just as blech. Right now its raining and thundering which is so nice.

We didn't get the rain, unfortunately. Just wind and extra humidity.

Learning you have an interview is great, waiting to interview, bsing your way through an interview, and waiting to hear if you got the job after the interview are all the pits. Good luck!
