Life goes on

I’m feeling mostly better, though still coughing some and tired easily. The doctor put me on steroids for the cough, which has helped a little, and has the side effects of making me want to eat fucking everything. It will also make me bitchy and restless as time goes on, so yay?

Still, I am glad that I may some day be dequarantined. My sister is officially free today, and Jess tomorrow. As a direct result, we’re able to get Cinco de Mayo dinner from the best Mexican restaurant that doesn’t deliver. (As opposed to the almost as good one that does).

I get to go back to working from home on Thursday, which I’m looking forward to. I’m getting to the point that I’m more bored than exhausted, which is never a good thing for me. I’ve been out for two weeks, most of which I needed desperately. I spent a lot of time studying the inside of my eyelids. I was running 101 degree fevers most of it, so the time kinda stretched and warped like warm taffy, broken up by virtual doctor appointments.

No fever for five days now. I was going to go back to work today, but my short term disability says Thursday, so then it will be. Tomorrow, more episodes of Worst Cooks in America, which I find deeply relaxing.

I am glad you are feeling better, but remain sad you felt so poorly for so long. Yay for tasty food.
