Another Manic Monday....

I had a lovely weekend with my awesome wife. We watched Red on dvd, went shopping for discount clothes (mostly a bust-except for Jess' most awesome top in the colors of fire). We also had tasty food, and possibly most satisfyingly, discussed werewolf epics (Jeff/Jensen, of course *grin*)

My butt continues to feel like a icy hot brand on my ass. Not my idea of fun. I don't know what I can do for it, but today, I'm trying a cushion with a cut out area, as the donut did not help. *sigh* We'll see.

And now, tis off to work.

On the writing side of things, I've got one good fight scene, and then, I'm done the next retriever-verse. Plus, it reawakened the urge to work on other old projects. We shall see.

Could Dr. Freas help at all? My pain came from my S1 and I've used topical anti-inflammatories (voltaren, penzaid and flector patch) believe me I've put topicals down as low as I can get. Ice works for sharp pain with me, though some days it makes it hurt more.

Sorry about the pain in your ass, especially when you *have* to sit all day. Injuries NOT fun with fibro >:(

Sorry to hear that you're in pain. :(

On the other hand, RETRIEVER VERSE!!

I tend to get a similar problem, and I have a folded up throw on my work chair to give a bit of padding and a proper back support to make sure I sit correctly and sit up straight - not slouching.

And I manage it much the same way I manage most of my 'unexplained' pain. Anti-inflammatory gel, anti-inflammatory pain killers and if it's really bad I'll double up with paracetamol.

And yes I'm careful before you say anything *wry*
