I survived Christmas with my family, despite my first act of the day to be puting my lovely wife on a plane to visit her dad for 5 days. Probably for the best that our internet was down yesterday. I have a history of starting flame wars while my baby is away.

We went to my cousin's house last night. Lots of food, better time than I expected. His kids are growing up, and much less annoying then they were.

Still won't ever be best friends with that side of the family, but it wasn't bad. The kids have the cutest dog. I played with it most of the night.

Sometimes, survival is the best you can hope for, with family. I'm happy to hear that it wasn't as drastic as it could have been.
