Woke up rather early with a backache. While I'm waiting for my drugs to kick in, I thought I'd make a real update. Things have been a little stressful, but good. We're still catching up on bills, but hopefully, we'll have things back to normal before Christmas. Jess is still looking for a job, but I know she's frustrated. We both know that something good is coming, that just like me, she needs a little time to rest before going back to the grind.

The new car, courtesy of Jess' dad is awesome. She drives like a dream, and I absolutely love it. This afternoon, we're doing our first puppy run in it. Hopefully, the predicted snow will be conquered by her four-wheel drive.

Work is...good. I enjoy getting to interact with people, and I'm good at it. My boss has nothing but good things to say about me, and everyone has been really nice. So yeah. I'm already averaging above where she wants me to be at calls taken per hour, and I'm right on the button for calls transferred to the sites. She told me that I'm already in the top three. *blush*

It's been nice to be somewhere that people appreciate the things you do. *grin*

My neck's been stable. I take my narcotics and I function. *shrug* I miss the days when my life didn't involve pills at all hours of the day, but hey. It's better than potentially crippling surgery, right?

Aw Hon I am so glad you are doing so well at work! I knew you would fit in easily. You are very bright and you have a way of seeing what needs to be done and taking care of it. Any employer would be lucky to have you. It's nice to see yours appreciates you!

Tell Jess to hang in there sometimes we all need to compress before getting back into the saddle so to speak. It's rough out there but I'm sure after the holidays something will open up for her!

I wish I could do something about your pain. I know how exhausting both mentally and physically it can be. I'll send healing thoughts and vibes your way!
