(no subject)

So, I'm sitting in McDonalds grabbing breakfast since the headache clinic failed to y'know, write my appt in their books. Dumbasses.

Anyhow, since I was out, I figured I'd get my oil change done/get breakfast since it's right next door.

There were seniors playing bingo, which was kind of awesome and soothing.

Once the car is done, I will go home and enjoy watching the fluffy white flakes coming down outside.

That actually sounds like a nice way to spend the rest of the day. Sorry about the clinic's bungle, though; that's very irritating.

There definitely needs to be some hot chocolate to end this story.

But the rest of the day doesn't sound too bad. :)

I know DC didn't really have enough snow, but my roomie and I made a foot and a half tall snowman, named him Frosty, and then she proceeded to beat me up with snowballs. Whereas I throw like the girl I am, and missed her EACH and every time (except once)!
We're from California, so we enjoyed it.
Of course, today we dealt with another reality of DC, and I slipped on the ice and fell on my butt on the way to campus. Which kinda negated all my pride last year because I had never lived in a place it got icy before (lived in a place it snowed once- but they cleaned the streets up). It was funny, but at the time I was bright red...
But yeah, it was pretty. And despite finals, I got a chance to get out there and enjoy it. It's like, when you're feeling down or frustrated, there's something new worldly about snow falling.
