Okay, first up, since the Stalker meme has maxed out on comments, let me say THANK YOU! to everyone who kindly stalks me. *grin*

We had a fair number of trick or treaters last night, but by far, our favorite was these two adorable little girls. One was dressed as Cinderella, and the other was in a lovely princess dress in burgundy. They both looked very petite and dainty and just so cute! They took a picture with our blow up pumpkin, with their mother all "It's the Great Pumpkin!" and were generally adorable. Best part though, was that they were SUCH kids. You could hear them down the street, yelling "trick or treat!!" Big voices for such little princesses. Oh, and "I GOT GUM!!!"

After all the worry of a couple weeks ago, Grandmom has pulled it off again, and was pronounced "stable." Woman is a tough old broad. *nod* I've been tasked with writing up a blurb for the paper, for her obit, as she's pretty accomplished--something that's only came out in the last year or so. She was an LPN, and has worked for three branches of military, holding patents in the Navy, and the Army Corp of Engineers. The Army was so impressed that they gave her a bonus check, and flew in the actor William Holden to present it to her. This for a woman who had a nervous breakdown in high school and ended up getting her GED. The rest of the family is going to be shocked when they hear about this, because they've never taken the time to ask her questions.

Both your Grandmom and your trick-or-treaters sound very cool! The only trick-or-treaters I had last night knocked on the doors of mine and my neighbor's apartments around 10:40 last night and sounded much more like men than boys. Er, I did not open the door.

Your gran sounds like an amazing woman. I'm so glad that you've got to hear her stories, and that she's pulled through again.

I stalk you and [livejournal.com profile] nilchance, because your fic is amazing. But I tend to be a bad non-feedbacking reader on account of shyness. But yes. Specific, if tardy, feedback incoming.
