I do love my new babies! We became the owners of two adorable rat boys on Saturday.

They're the sweetest little things ever, gentle and chubby and twee. We named them Rodney and Ronon. (don't think I can't hear you laughing, PT.)

You probably know already, but watch that the boys don't become too aggressive with each other. I used to have pet mice and sometimes boys get carried away with territory and dominance stuff.

I've never lived with a tiny mammal (there were fish and parakeets many years ago) but they are adorable. Nowadays at least I can live vicariously through flist's tiny mammals.

Awwww how adorable. I have a 6 week old female rat, I got her last week and I love her to bits.

I had two male dumbo rats a year and bit ago and all they did was sex each other up. At it all hours they were and they weren't quiet, randy buggers.
