Project cleanup...

Is officially over. At least the clean out part. Now it's just finishing touches, going through a few more piles of old clothes, and basic dusting.

It was a rousing success, as we now have a lovely area to relax and read or do crafty things. By the time winter hits, I hope to have the whole basement done, and have a lovely little coffee bar/kitchenette set up in the bar. *nod* Also plan to set up wi-fi in the basement so that we can relax and do our stuff while sipping coffee/tea at the bar, or sitting in the TV area.

We're hoping to have pictures soon!

Now, I just need to recover from Project Cleanup. There's not too many parts of my body that don't feel like I got beaten with a stick. But it's worth it knowing that tonight, I'll go home to a quiet sanctuary, complete with a lovely table fountain and Hershey's chocolate scented candles.

take a niiiiiiiiiiice hot bath with bath salts or epson salts. that'll help take care of any stiffness. TRUST ME!

Hazzah! You guys rock :) That's so great that you two were able to cleanse and release all that stuff. You're an inspiration for me to start working on my problem areas.

Ditto on the epsom salts. You probably already know but, they actually draw out lactic acid from the muscles. Plus hot baths feel great. Hmmm tho' in this weather...

That's so worth the pain. Twice now, we've fixed up our home only when we're getting ready to sell and move. And that's a bummer 'cause you have to LIVE there, it should be as pleasing as it can be.

So good on you for doing it now. What fun to have your own coffee bar to hang out in!
