So, anything been going on? *grin* Damn, I love a good fandom flap. And I see that as the smoke has cleared, LJ's going "Uh. We screwed the pooch." No, really?

So, anyhow, this lj is obviously still here. I grabbed beanside on GJ, and have been ragnarok on JF for years, but I'll be here mostly, in all probability. There's a push on over at JF to bring the code up to snuff, and get the bugs hammered out. In that case, I'd consider moving, because I have a lot of faith in Zorro and Robin and their robust servers. I put our fic site on Slashcity, also one of theirs, and I'm one of the admins of their multifandom archive Slashfanfiction.com.

So, with that said... Wow, a shitload of people have friended me lately! *waves* Hi, y'all!

If any of you have questions, now's your chance. Be it personal or about fic. (in other words, I'm bored.)

I'd love to move over to JF, just to support Robin and Z, but as you say, some work needs to be done, and I'd like F_W to go away, only because I think it's a bad influence on fandom. :/

*raises hand* I'm actually one of the wankers, I'm afraid. I do think that sometimes there's a mob mentality, though. But sometimes, you just need to laugh and point (and in my case, be laughed and pointed at on at least one occasion).

And yet, I still love you. ;)

Oh, I'm of the mind that wank is going to happen. It's fandom, it's our legacy. And it'll happen on its own in the natural course of things and we don't necessarily need a special community just to encourage it. That's all. I've wanked and been wanked at, myself.

Yep, I was in due South. Mostly as a reader, but I did a little work with Robin on the due South archive she and ZR set up. :)

Not sure if I mentioned, but I'm meghan on JF (which was the first name of my pen name way back when), so that's who'll be friending you over there.

Still bored? If so, what did you study/are you studying in school? If you could do it over, would you choose the same?

*laugh* Yes. I studied Mass Communications, with a focus on radio broadcasting, then I studied Medical Assisting, which is what I do.

Thanks, I was just curious. I studied English lit which wasn't especially useful *shockhorror* but, as you suggest, it's best not to mess with a good thing.
